Val d'Isere Practicalities

Practical information and Apres Ski guide to Val d'Isere

Sleeping One of the biggest problems in the village is the accommodation gap between the nice and not so nice hotels - there's very fittle middle ground.

Bars and clubs

Join the season workers in legendary Dicks Tea Bar or try something a little more down to earth. New bar Warm Up or Bananas are good places to start the night before everyone heads to Le Graal nightclub.

Best apres-ski

Where to begin? Apres-ski starts early at the Moris Pub or head to Taverne d'Alsace  where a slightly older crowd enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. New bar Saloon is where the seasonaires chill before a big night or Victors for the dangerous range of 2-4-1 cocktails.

Shopping

You'll find most of the big names in Val d'lsere and a lot of kit shops. There are two reasonably sized Spar shops in the village centre - stock up on your basics here.
