Ski Chalet Details

With 2 separate living areas, large TV room, Study, and dining room Le Chardon is an ideal location for larger groups, and corporate parties to soak up the magical atmosphere.  The large private terrace is a fantastic place to hold extravagant barbecues while, in the right conditions, drinks are served from a hand crafted snow bar.  A perfect way to mix business with pleasure.

After an active day on the slopes of the Espace Killy ski area choose to ski back or to be collected by your private chauffeur and taken back to Le Chardon where afternoon tea and cakes will be served.  Choose to relax in one of the two private hot tubs with a glass of champagne or for the more energetic a splash around in the 18ft swim spa. Alternatively you may choose to indulge in a full body massage, from one of the highly trained physiotherapists or to curl up in front of the open log fire with a good book before you enjoy a five course culinary experience.  All of the menus are designed exclusively for you by the acclaimed head chef and served in the newly extended dining room overlooking the Manchet Valley.

However you choose to spend your days, breathing in all that mountain air is sure to build up your appetite and that is why we make sure to provide you with indulgent treats around every corner.  Following tea or coffee in bed you can begin your day with a hearty breakfast.  Choose between fresh French bread and croissants with jams, fresh fruits, continental or cooked breakfast or even porridge to keep you going on the mountain.

 On return to your chalet at the end of the day, you will again be greeted by your chalet manager or host, with delicious baked goodies and warming tea, coffee or hot chocolate.  All of which will be served to you by the roaring log fire.  Don’t eat too much however as the jewel of the crown is still to come, beginning the evening with a tantalising selection of canapés served with your choice of aperitif, your talented chef will prepare the finest cuisine using a premium selection of hand picked local and international ingredients to suit all your culinary desires. All of which will be accompanied by a superior selection of French wines, especially chosen by our very own sommelier.

 All of our chefs at Le Chardon Mountain Lodges are chosen for their skill, passion and adaptability and will create a menu especially for you, whether you prefer a gastronomic feast of healthy infusions or a simple supper. Your chef can discuss with you, prior to arrival, any special dietary requirements or requests you may have.

 And not to worry about the little ones! They too will have a special menu created for them, making sure dining is their highlight too. Rest assured you will not need to think about cooking, cleaning or washing up from the minute you arrive until the minute you go home.
