Ski Chalet Details

The chalet is located first floor "end terrace" in a building set just one street back from the main road through Val d'Isere.  It comprises a main double master bedroom with build in wardrobes and ensuite shower room and WC.  A bunk room with a pull out bed under the bottom bunk to make it into a double bed.  Separate bathroom and WC.  The open plan kitchen/living area has a double sofa bed for extra persons and opens on to a south facing balcony with views of the Solaise mountain.  The apartment is newly refurbished as of summer 2010, complete with brand new shower room, kitchen including full size oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer.  Internet connection, UK freeview television and DVD player are also as standard.

Rental Facilities

The chalet comprises two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite) a newly refurbished fully fitted modern kitchen with a balcony and views of the Solaise mountain.  

All bookings include a FREE airport transfer and FREE half day private lesson/tour of the huge Espace Killy area.

All bookings include an start/end of week clean and all linen.  Catered holidays include food and daily cleaning as well as a idweek towel change.

The chalet apartment is located a minute walk from the centre of town and just 100m from the free bus stop to the bottom of the slopes and the new leisure centre comprising swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room etc etc. 

Chalet Food

The joy of our chalet apartment is the flexibility we offer so that you can make your holiday one to remember.  We offer a number of catering options from self-catering to full chalet catered holidays...

Self-catering holiday makers would arrive to find a starter pack to get you going (a range of starter packs are available) and then be left to their own devices for all their meals.  We are of course on the end of the phone to advise on restaurants and supermarkets as necessary.

Fully catered holiday makers would get breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course dinner with canapes and wine on 6 days out of their 7 day holiday.  The seventh day is the chalet girl's night off and they would need to make arrangements to go to a local restaurant for the evening.  Breakfast consists of bread, jams, cereals, porridge and cooked options.  Afternoon tea would be left for your arrival home each afternoon after skiing - a fresh homemade cake each day, bread and hot drinks.  As an example of a dinner menu you might start with canapes of roast beef and mini yorkshire pudding canapes then move on to a starter of thai crab cakes before enjoying some roast duck with a honey and ginger sauce and finishing the evening with a trio of lime desserts.  Dietary requirements and specific likes/dislikes can be catered for accordingly.

If neither of the above appeal then why not go for a half-way option.  Bed and Breakfast would give you the full works breakfast and afternoon tea but leave you to explore the area for dinner.  Or maybe a semi-catered holiday where you get breakfast and tea on 6 days but dinner on only 3.

The chalet apartment is centrally located set just one road back from the main road through Val d'Isere.  It is a minutes walk into the centre of town and all the shops, bars and restaurants.  One of the free busses around the resort leaves from just 100m down the road to take you straight to the bottom of the slopes.  Or if you want to walk to the slopes it will take around three minutes only.  The brand new leisure centre is just down the road with swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room etc.  The town has a local weekly market, cinema, weekly tour in English.  There is ice driving, paintballing and husky dog riding for those not keen to hit the slopes every day.  Parapenting and skidooing for adrenaline junkies.  And pedestrian passes to get up the mountain and meet friends/family for lunch and drinks for those who do not want to ski at all...
