A recently renovated village house with 6 en-suite bedrooms, sauna, equipment room, dining room, spacious lounge and sunny patio garden. Sleeps 2-14 people.

Situated in the centre of Bareges, 50m from the free ski bus stop and close to all of the village shops, bars, restaurants and the wonderful thermal baths.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Les Cailloux is in Tourmalet, France

Situated in the traditional mountain village of Bareges at 1250m, in the Haute Pyrenees. Bareges is part of the Bareges-La Mongie (Tourmalet) ski area - the largest ski resort in the French Pyrenees, with over 100km of pistes. There are green and blue pistes returning to the village and a free ski bus running every 10-15 minutes (5 minutes ride to the lifts).

Bareges is a small but lively village, with ski shops, supermarket, bakery and butchers, bars and restaurants and a thermal spa. The baths are the highest thermal spa in France - perfect for relaxing after a hard day out on the slopes.

Other local attractions include skiing at Luz-St. Sauveur, Gavarnie and Cauterets. The pilgrimage town of Lourdes is 40 minutes away.

Tourmalet is the biggest skiing resort area in the French Pyrenees along with Bareges and La Mongie.
