Ski Chalet Details

Chalet La Tourne is a chalet that is located in the heart of Le Lac, Tignes.

The chalet accommodates up to twenty guests, with its seven beautifully furnished bedrooms.

The relaxing living area with its comfy sofas will lure you in after skiing so that you will be able to enjoy afternoon tea and cake, but be careful that you don’t stay there too long, otherwise you might miss your three course evening meal.

There is also a large terrace area for you to come back to and give those weary legs a well-earned rest, while taking in the beautiful scenery. The outdoor burner keeps the warmth going long into the night.

The chalet’s large, self-contained professional kitchen allows our staff to create delicious dishes for all of our hungry guests.

The indoor ski and boot storage area ensures dry and toasty warm boots in the morning.

Finally, if the weather has decided not to be friendly or those tired legs have started to turn to jelly, we hope the complimentary Wi-fi, or the flat screen with arguably the largest DVD collection in the Alps, will help you feel at home.

The chalet consists of 7 bedrooms, that are all fully furnished. All the rooms were refurbished in 2007 to a high standard, using traditional chalet materials.

The rooms:

Ecureuil is the largest room that is available as a twin room or as a family room. Ecureuil benefits from an en-suite bathroom along with beautiful views of the Pointe du Lavachet.

Ibex is a large room that is available as a double room or as a family room. This room benefits from beautiful views of the Pointe du Lavachet.

Lievres is a lovely and cosy double room that also has plenty of space for all of your holiday essentials. This room is offered at a reduced rate, as it is an internal room with an internal window.

Marmotte is a great twin room that also has ample space for all of your holiday essentials. This room benefits from beautiful views of the Pointe du Lavachet.

Eterlou is a great twin room that also has sufficient space for all of your holiday essentials. This room benefits from beautiful views of the Pointe du Lavachet.

Dahu is a great twin room that also has more than enough space for all of your holiday essentials.

Chamois is a large room that is available as a twin room or as a family room. This room is offered at a reduced rate, as it has no window.

BathroomsIbex and Lievres share a bathroom. Marmotte and Eterlou share a bathroom.Dahu and Chamois share a bathroom.

Transfers

Our guests have the luxury off transfers to and from the airport.

Rental Facilities

Supplements/Reductions:Marmotte, Eterlou, Lievres and Dahu prices are based on two people sharing a room. Ecureuil, Ibex and Chamois are based on 3 people sharing a room.There is a £30 discount per person for Lievres and Chamois. There is a £30 supplement per person for Ecureuil. If you wish to have a room to yourself there is a 50% single supplement. Infants aged 2 and under are free.

Once the minimum number of people per room have booked, there will then be the following reductions; Children aged 3-15 will receive a 40% reduction.Adults will receive a 20% reduction.

Infants:High chairs and cots are can be provided subject to availability.

Group Discounts:It is possible to book the whole of the chalet. Please contact us for a quote.Flights and Transfers:The package does not include flights. This offers you the flexibility and convenience of finding a flight that best suits your needs. We are happy to arrange transfers to and from local airports and stations. Ski Hire:For ski and board hire we recommend the Snow Park Shop. This is easilly accessed in Tignes Le Lac, just up from the Jam Bar. We are pleased to announce our guests receive a 20% discount. They offer Head, Dynastar, Salomon, Scott & Movement skis, and skis for kids starting at 3 years old. Ski boots are mainly Head. Their snowboards and snowboard boots will be by brand new Nitro, with test boards to sell.Lift Pass:Lift pass is not included in the price. Lift passes are available to purchase in resort. However during peak weeks it is advisable to purchase your lift passes online ahead of travelling to Tignes. If you require any help with purchasing your lift pass please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Chalet Food

All our prices include half board catered chalet accommodation for 6 days (breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner). Wednesday (7th day) is the chalet staff’s day off; breakfast will be self-service, then this will be the perfect opportunity for you to visit a local restaurant and sample the delights of the local fare. Breakfast: Fruit juice, selection of cereals and patisseries, and cooked breakfast (except Wednesdays).Dinner: Three-course dinner with wine, followed by coffee.Welcome evening: Bubbly drinks and canapés will accompany your welcome chat.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Chalet La Tourne is in Tignes, France

The chalet is situated 200m from the centre of Le Lac which is an easy 5 minute walk away. Intermediate skiers and boarders are able to cross the road and slide down to the slopes. If this is not an option for you then you will be able to use the shuttle service from our chalet to town between 8:30am and 9am in one of our mini buses.
