Skiing In Sestriere Ski Resort

Sestriere is one of, if not the best resort that makes up the Milky Way, in recent years the resort runs hosted many of the Turn Olympics in 2006. The resort is situated at a high altitude and due to this offers excellent snow conditions and challenges for all levels of skier.

Sestriere Ski Resort

The lift systems is improved every year and only tends to get very busy at weekends

Sestriere resort is not the most picturesque of resorts however the sunning surrounds more than make up for any architectural design.  If your not planning to ski every day then you will find plenty of activities to keep you entertained and a lively nightlife over the weekend with many weekend visitors for near by Turin and Milan.

Overall, Sestriere is a surprisingly good value resort, considering its renown. It's also an excellent base for exploring the Milky Way, with its own all-ability pistes to satisfy everyone. Ignoring the less-than-heavenly architecture, this is one of the best Italian resorts.
