Ski Chalet Details

The Pension Hoffelner is at 1140 meters in the village of Ramsau am Dachstein which is just 1 hour from Salzburg and looks down on the World Cup resort of Schladming which has 189 km of varied, tree lined piste over 4 inter-linked mountains plus an ultra modern lift system, there is really is something for everyone here and lift queues here are very rare.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Pension Hoffelner is in Schladming, Austria

The Pension Hoffelner is in a quiet and sunny location with beautiful panoramic views, approximately 15 minutes walk from the main village. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance.

9 minutes drive from the main gondola station in Schaldming - ski shuttle available on request or as part of a package.

5 Minutes from the local ski area in Ramsau and only 15 minutes from the Dachstein Glacier base station.

Free Ski bus stop 100 meters.

Just 100 meters from the house is a  blue ski piste which is ideal for practicing on and for regaining confidence before you hit the main slopes. Beginners lessons can also be organised here for groups of 5 or more.

Munich - 2.5 hours

Graz & Klagenfurt - 2 hours

Vienna - 3.5 hours

There are many other activities available -

• Night Sledging on a 3.5 km lit piste, with a mountain restaurant at the top. A great evening's fun and very popular on the Cook's night off.
• Guided Dachstein Glacier Crossing either on skis or snow shoes

• Ski Touring or Off Piste with a guide
• Cross Country Skiing - Ramsau is a World Cup Cross Country ski resort and one of the 200 km of trails runs directly through the Chalet garden, which make it ski-in, ski-out.
• Horse Riding in the snow
• Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides
• Roller Coaster in the snow, down a local piste
• Leisure Centre with Swimming pool and Spa in the village
