Ski Chalet Details

Accommodation

• 1st level - lounge, dining area and kitchen
• 1st level - very large balcony/terrace (facing due south)
• 2nd level - large balcony/terrace (facing due south)
• 2nd level - balcony facing east

 Sleeping accommodation

• 1st level - bedroom sleeps 1 or 2 persons (2 single beds separately or together)
• 2nd level - bedroom sleeps 1, 2 or 3 persons (1 double bed and 1 single bed/80 cm wide)
• 2nd level - bedroom sleeps 1, 2 or 3 persons (bunk bed and 1 single bed, or, 2 single beds separately or together)
• 2nd level - mezzanine sleeping area sleeps 1 or 2 persons (standard double bed)
• if required, two sofas in the lounge become single beds

A reduction in price of hire of ski and/or board equipment has been arranged for Le Chalet Fischer guests in winter

In winter, accommodation is available from Christmas to mid-April

In spring/summer/autumn, accommodation is available from mid-May to mid/end November

Concerning prices (self-catering)

1. Prices in winter are for groups of up to 8 persons 
2. Prices in summer are indicated for groups of up to 6 persons (note for groups of 7 or 8 persons in summer, please enquire)
3. 15% reduction of price of bookings for children under 13 years as at start of holiday (- not applicable to 'Last Minute' or 'Late Availability' offers -)
4. 5% reduction of price of additional (consecutive) week(s) booked (- not applicable to 'Last Minute' or 'Late Availability' offers -)
5. Bookings for 2 or 3 persons are accepted in spring and late summer/autumn (conditions might apply) 
6. Conditions might be applicable to Special Offer prices
7. Prices and invoicing are in Euros.  Prices in other currencies may vary according to currency exchange rates.

Procedure for booking 

• Payment of a deposit of 25% of the rental price is required in order for a reservation to be confirmed;  balance of rental price is payable 8 weeks prior to holiday start date.  Payments can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or electronic bank transfer
• For reservations made less than 8 weeks prior to holiday start date, payment of rental in full is required at time of booking

Ski Chalet Le Chalet Fischer is in Samoens, France

The area

Le Chalet Fischer, facing due south at approximately one hour from Geneva is situated very near to Samoens in the Giffre Valley and very close to the Samoens and Morillon ski lift entrances to Le Grand Massif ski area.

winter

The interlinked resorts of Morillon, Flaine (2500 m), Samoens, Les Carroz and Sixt make up Le Grand Massif (265 km of slopes and 78 ski lifts).  The area, which has one of the best snow records in the Alps, and wonderful views (including that of Mont Blanc), provides extensive skiing and snowboarding possibilities for all levels.

Both Morillon and Samoens have ESF (Ecole du Ski francais) ski schools for group or private lessons (ski or snowboard) and other ski schools are also present in Le Grand Massif.  It is advisable to book ski and/or board lessons well in advance of a holiday.

For non downhill skiers/boarders there is cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, snow walking, sledging.

summer

Spring, summer and autumn are ideal seasons for mountain walking, climbing, cycling, paragliding, tennis.  In summer:  Via Ferrata, horse riding, canoeing, mountain biking using marked out tracks, potholing, rafting, swimming, aerial adventure routes and quad tracks. 

excursions

Le Chalet Fischer is ideally situated for excursions to discover/visit many places of interest such as (examples) Annecy, Chamonix/Mont Blanc, Geneva, Yvoire, Thonon, Evian within approximately a one hour drive.

Various maps, guides, brochures concerning the local and surrounding area are available at the chalet for reference and provide details of activities in the local area as well as describing destinations for excursions.
