Ski in and out from the door step, relax, and enjoy friendly hospitality and great home cooking.

Chalet Les Cuttes provides lovely wood-panelled ensuite rooms, king-sized doubles or twin beds, and flexible accommodation options for families or groups of friends. Available for weekends, short breaks and flexible arrival and departure dates. Discounts for children and groups, and for "short-week" stays. Exclusive occupancy available.

Ski Chalet Details

Les Cuttes is a large traditional chalet, furnished in the grand French style. The decor is unashamedly Savoyard, full of wood panelling, exposed-beam ceilings, and of course a log fire.

There are two lounges to choose from, downstairs with the log fire, two steps from the dining table, or a separate cosy sitting area upstairs under the eaves.

Les Cuttes provides four guest bedrooms, accommodating up to nine guests. Standard occupancy is in twin or king-sized double bedrooms, as you prefer, with ensuite bathrooms. Single occupancy can be provided when available or as part of a group booking.

Sitting high above the valley, Les Cuttes provides some spectacular views. To the north the top lifts of the neighbouring ski area of Les Gets can be glimpsed, east we see Swiss alpine peaks, and looking uphill into the Grand Massif we see the high lifts going towards Flaine. Out of sight from Les Cuttes, but in full view from the higher reaches of the Grand Massif, Mont Blanc is less than 15 miles away.

Please see our website at www.snowonsnow.com for all the details, and also all about the fantastic skiing in the Grand Massif, and the nearby Savoyard villages of Morillon, Samoens and Sixt.

Rental Facilities

We'll make sure you have all you need for the perfect ski holiday, and we'll be pleased to help you arranging ski hire, lessons and transfers.

The chalet is directly next to the blue piste which descends from the higher slopes down to the lovely village of Morillon.

Chalet Food

Starting with drinks before dinner on arrival, you'll enjoy warm hospitality at Les Cuttes.

After a long day on the slopes, afternoon tea will keep you going until our three course evening dinner service with wine, and then you can relax in comfort with a coffee in front of a real log fire.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Chalet Les Cuttes is in Samoens, France

"Les Cuttes", is a small hamlet located 200m above the village of Morillon, which is about 3 miles from Samoens. From the terrace you can join the piste on skis and return still on skis at the end of the day - ski in / ski out, in normal conditions. We are located directly in the Grand Massif domain, one of France's largest and most varied ski areas, topped off by the high-altitude resort of Flaine. Geneva is less than an hour away to the west, and Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc, is only 13 miles to the east.

The huge ski domain is made up of four traditional Savoyard villages, Morillon, Samoëns, Les Carroz and Sixt, circling the high altitude resort of Flaine. The sheer size means skiers of any level would need several weeks to fully explore it all. But the best feature of the Grand Massif is the variety of skiing it provides, with great runs for everyone from the complete beginner to the off piste expert. And the beautiful tree-lined slopes around and above the villages mean that sheltered skiing is possible in poor weather conditions.
