Ski Chalet Details

The chalet has been renovated to a very high standard and boasts spacious and relaxing accommodation for families and groups of friends. At the heart of the chalet is the 50m2 open plan lounge and dining area, with a cosy wood burner and superb views of the valley and village below. There is a wide screen TV, UK satellite TV, DVD & video. For those wishing to stay in touch with the outside world, there is free broadband available via the chalet WIFI network.

The 4 en-suite bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, retaining many of the chalet's original features. There is 1 double, 2 twin and 1 family room (double and full-size bunk beds). Two of the rooms have a bath and 2 a shower and there is the option of turning one of the twins into a family room using a camp bed for smaller children.

For self- catering guests, there is a seperate fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave.

The chalet garden is peaceful and private with fantastic 360 degree views of the valley, mountains and looking down onto the village. In summer there are garden games available as well as outdoor tables, chairs and sun loungers to make the most of the long, hot summers.

The chalet is available as either catered, sole occupancy catered or sole occupancy self-catered. We are open all year around and can provide transfers to and from Geneva airport at competitive prices.

Ski Chalet Chalet L'Alpee is in Samoens, France

The chalet is located on the hillside above the village of Sixt Fer a Cheval which sits in the valley carved out by the River Giffre. Sixt is the last village before the valley ends at the famous Fer a Cheval, one of the 30 'Grand Sites de France'. We are just over an hour from Geneva, an hour from Chamonix and about an hour and a half from Annecy. Samoens is just over 5 minutes away with it's selection of shops and restaurants.

The chalet sits in it's own private, large gardens with stunning 360 degree views to the surrounding mountains and looking down onto the village of Sixt. The chalet will suit those looking for a traditional alpine chalet in a French village virtually untouched by tourism. All amenities and facilities are only a few minutes away, giving visitors the best of both worlds.
