Sainte Foy Tarentaise Practicalities

Practical information and Apres Ski guide to Sainte Foy Tarentaise

Situated 12 km from Val d'lsere, Sainte Foy is the ideal resort for experienced skiers and beginners alike. It's relatively quiet, without much nightlife, so it is great for families and groups who are looking for a bit of escapism. Probably due to the lack of clubs and bars this is a less populated resort, which means relatively short waits for lifts and plenty of room on the slopes.

Bars and clubs

Ste Foy isn't a nightlife hotspot, but there are a few options, with the Piano Bar probably the liveliest. English-run Chez Alison also has a loyal clientele.

Eating

We're big fans of the fondue at La Maison a Colonnes, while La Bergerie takes care of local Savoyard fayre in fine old surroundings, as does La Grange.
