Ski Chalet Details

After a great day on the slopes make use of the chalet's separate boot room entrance, drop off your skis and snowboards, and leave your boots warming on the boot heaters to be ready for the next morning. Upstairs you are welcomed into the sumptuously-decorated open living area where you can unwind on the leather sofas in front of the cosy log fire and listen to your favourite music on the iPod docking station. Alternatively, relax in the TV area which features a flat screen TV, UK Satellite, and a DVD player.

While your meal is prepared for you by your chalet chef, retire to the large balcony with your favourite drink, where you can enjoy the stunning views of Mont Pourri and the surrounding valley. For large family groups, Chalet Rocher has a 70m² lower floor playroom with TV, DVD player, and a range of toys. This fantastic feature room provides a huge space in which young children can play, or which teenagers can use as a chill out area.

Chalet Rocher comprises seven bedrooms; however, for catered groups, we feel that to ensure our high standards of service are maintained, we prefer to look after groups of up to ten people.

Upstairs the double bedroom has an ensuite shower room and the two twin rooms share a large bathroom. On the ground floor another double bedroom enjoys the benefit of an ensuite shower room and balcony. These rooms are always used for catered bookings.

Catered groups then choose one of the following three rooms to accomodate the rest of their guests. Downstairs there are a further two double bedrooms (one with direct balcony access) with ensuite bathrooms, plus a bunkroom which sleeps four, and a separate shower room. All of the chalet's bedrooms boast ample storage space.

A spacious, fully-equipped chalet located in an incredible position in the resort, Chalet Rocher is ideal for family groups with children of any age.

Our fully-licensed Cub Club Creche is stocked with plenty of fun games and toys to keep your children amused while you ski. Alternatively, hire one of our private nannies, who will look after your little ones in the comfort of your chalet. Either way, you can enjoy your family ski holiday safe in the knowledge that your children are receiving the best possible care and attention.

Our concierge service can arrange ski hire, ski passes, airport transfers and so on to make planning your holiday as easy as possible. Once you're here, they can help make everything run smoothly too - arranging anything from deliveries of bread and croissants and British newspapers in time for breakfast every morning, to off-piste guides and heli-skiing trips. Our local knowledge makes all the difference.

Ski Chalet Chalet Rocher is in Sainte Foy Tarentaise, France

Sainte Foy’s stunning location gives breathtaking views of the Tarentaise valley below. The impressive Mont Pourri towers over this quaint ski resort and unlike many larger resorts, Sainte Foy remains true to its roots, with plenty of alpine charm, uncrowded pistes and fantastic skiing.

Sainte Foy offers affordable lift passes at approximately £100 per week (almost half the price of Val d'Isère and Les Arcs!) and kids under seven ski for free. The excellent traditional restaurants, bars and village remain remarkably unspoilt with uncrowded pistes, no lift queues and excellent snow conditions due to the north-west facing slopes.

The central location of Sainte Foy gives you access to some of the best skiing the world has to offer where you can ski up to six surrounding resorts in one week! It is not surprising that Sainte Foy is referred to as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the French Alps.
