Rental Facilities

On arriving at the chalet, you walk straight into the ground floor where you can park your skis and boots for the evening, knowing that in the morning they will be cosy and dry.

The modern in-chalet lift will then take you directly to your room or straight into the very spacious and homely living room where you can enjoy your apres-ski drink in our bar area or relax on the soft leather sofas in front of a roaring log fire whilst watching the sunset from the impressive panoramic south facing windows! 

All of the eight bedrooms are bright, very spacious and are named after local wines, some of which we serve at dinner. All the bedrooms have a TV/video station and the en-suite bathrooms have hairdryers. The bedrooms are furnished in local Savoyard style. 

As well as fluffy towels, comfy slippers and luxurious bathrobes, we add small extras like free use of Facial Saunas and Foot Spas as well as candles for the ultimate chillout experience. Access to the bedrooms is by lift or stairway. 

Two large twin rooms, Crepy and Gamay are accessed from the first floor. One of these twins features click-together beds which can be made up as doubles. 

On the second floor there are three more large twins, Mondeuse, Chignin and Roussette together with a large double, Chautagne. Two of the twin rooms feature click-together beds which can be made up as doubles. The lounge and bar, which boasts over sixty-six square meters of space in which to relax, takes up most of the third floor. The dining room and kitchen are conveniently adjacent. 

On the fourth floor there are two large en-suite bedrooms with mezzanine floors accommodating bunk beds, ideal for families of four (with discounts applicable). Apremont is a double and Abymes is a twin with ‘click-together’ beds which can be made up as a double.

Chalet Marigold is a non-smoking chalet and ashtrays are provided on balconies for smokers. Please refer to the floor plans when booking as you may wish to select a particular room or floor. Your Chalet Hosts eat dinner with you and live in.

Chalet Food

We are as passionate about food as we are about skiing! You can be rest assured of consistently high quality, healthy, delicious meals with SnowCrazy. Almost all our food is homemade, including kiddie’s meals, the croissants are made by a traditional French bakery and baked fresh in the chalet. We aim to provide you with nutritionally balanced delicious meals. We cater for all kinds of diets: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free etc. just let us know your requirements. If you have any food allergies, intolerances or dislikes, let us know as soon as possible so we can plan a lovely menu for you to avoid disappointment. We believe in steaming vegetables where possible to retain their vitamin and mineral content and garnish to enhance their flavours. All ingredients are bought locally with the minimum of packaging.

Every day (apart from the chalet hosts day off) you can expect breakfast with hot croissants, afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes and biscuits and a stylish candlelit five course dinner party. There is also a fresh fruit bowl available at all times. Dinner is a hearty, wholesome meal. We know how important it is to eat well after a day on the mountain. Dinner commences with aperitifs and canapés, followed by a tasty starter, a scrumptious main course, a dessert to die for and if you’re still hungry there’ll be a cheeseboard with local specialities to sample. Your meal will be served with some delightful local Savoie wines direct from a local vineyard, selected after lots of diligent tastings, the perfect accompaniment to your meal.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Chalet Marigold is in Sainte Foy Tarentaise, France

Sainte Foy is rated as one of the top 10 ski resorts in the world by The Sunday Times. Referred to as the ´jewel in the crown´ of the Tarentaise valley, Ste Foy is an exclusive unspoilt resort, situated at 1550m with lifts taking you up to 2840m. The ski area is excellent for families with superb records for snow. Situated close to well known resorts such as Val d’Isère/Tignes/La Rosiere and Les Arcs, Ste. Foy is ideally located to enjoy away days as part of your stay. There are mixtures of old and new chalets all at the higher end of luxury and Ste. Foy is one of the prettiest villages in the Tarentaise Valley. The village has a few restaurants and a couple of bars. 

There are no lift queues, no hoards of skiers on the pistes so conditions stay good and it´s where the ski instructors from Val d’Isère often come to ski on their days off. There are quite a few red and blue runs with a few green runs, great for beginners. There is also 3 separate nursery slopes for children with a free lift for children. The resort is suited to off-piste enthusiasts alike with superb large areas of unmarked runs. At Chalet Marigold we offer a 5 day Ski Safari, 5 days of ski hosting in Sainte Foy and neighbouring resorts.
