NEW FOR WINTER 2009 - 2010 VILLA AUGUSTINE HINTERGLEMM AUSTRIA:

This new ski home VILLA AUGUSTINE is built in the grounds of CHALET AUGUSTINE and has been a great success with its facilities and location. This is our sixth winter season and with our new Villa Augustine ready for winter 2009 2010 we hope to welcome many more guests to this rare choice of accommodation so close to the lifts and Hinterglemm village centre.

Chalet Augustine is a great 5 bedroom self catered mountain home, located in Hinterglemm Village and with this type of accommodation rarely found so close to the piste and chairlift – only 100m. On top of this, guests were able to ski back to the chalet nearly all of last winter

This holiday home is ideal for 10 friends or family to stay in Hinterglemm and next to the Reiterkogel gondola lift.

The price of this chalet is calculated for groups of 10 guests sharing on a self catering basis and for 7 nights stay. The price includes all bedding and towels and the final clean.

Transfer advice from Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck can be given and all the airports within a two or three hour transfer.

Rental Facilities

Starting with the top floor the chalet has two double bedrooms both with an extra sofa bed if needed. These two bedrooms are joined by a small hallway and off this a bathroom with toilet. This whole top floor can be closed off with a door at the top of the stairs for more privicy if needed giving it a real cosy and warm feeling. Both bedrooms have real oak parquet flooring, sloping ceilings and with being top, great south facing views of Hinterglemm and the mountain range from your bed. Cable TV and hair dryer and all bedding in each bedroom with crisp white sheets and cosy warm duvets, these two beautiful bedrooms will help to make this winter ski holiday something to remember.

The first floor has three double bedrooms one with private toilet and shower. The other two bedrooms to share the shower and toilet with easy access from the landing. There is also another bathroom and toilet with basin on the ground floor for your use when the morning rush is taking longer than expected.. The front south bedroom has a large terrace that surrounds the chalet for your use with sunchairs. With double balconey doors from the bedroom out onto the south facing wooden terrace with the morning sunshine and views of the mountains an ideal way to start your day.

Again as above, cable TV and hair dryer including towels (bath and hand) plus all bedding with crisp white sheets and cosy warm duvets. All the bedrooms have twin beds that can be made into doubles when required.

The large ground floor of Chalet Augustine is the heart of the ski chalet. Its has a open plan dinning and living area.

This living and dining area is cosy and warm with large French doors that open up with a "Juliette" balconey which faces south. This is great for morning sunshine and views of the mountain range from your living room while eating breakfast or evening dinner. The south-facing terrace kitted out with deckchairs – a perfect sun trap.

Two large leather sofas with soft custions so if you decide to take a day off from the slopes a large LCD TV and DVD player for your use. The chalet is kitted out with all the modern amenities; as stated before a LCD Flat screen TV, DVD player and DVDs and games.

For those who cannot quite bring themselves to leave the office to its own devices and bring their laptops instead we do have unlimited WIFI broad band internet access (please bring your own laptops).

In the entrance hall there you will find the ski boot room with heated boot rack "a great invention" to dry your boots over night and ski and snow board storage.

The whole of Chalet Augustine has oak parquay wooden flooring and gives the chalet a real home feeling.

*Fresh rolls and bread delivered every morning
*Mid week clean if needed or time and day arranged on arrival.
*Initial food set-up of your choice, the cost depending on your requirments just email us your favourites before you arrive.
*Child requirments of high chair and cots can be requested at no extra cost. Please request on booking.

The chalet is very well equipped and has a fully operational kitchen with all the usual appliances fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 4 ring hob and oven, kettle, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. In the kitchen all the necessary utensils like crockery and cutlery is supplied with the chalet.

Parking is available to front of the chalet for three cars...There is a large underground carpark run by the local authority at an extra cost to you a short walk away.

Chalet Food

The chalet is "self catered" and with bakeries and supermarkets in the near an ideal choice. There are many restaurants within 2 minute walk if you would like to eat out on some evenings.

Our ski chalet is ideally located in the centre of Hinterglemm at the Reiterkogelbahn. This gondola will take you to the amazing Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang skicircus. The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang offers you 200 km of groomed slopes for all skiers and snowboarders.

There are 55 ways of scaling the heights with our extensive lift network with many of the lifts express and enclosed gondolas. This is Austria’s largest connecting ski resort. You can select from gentle slopes to black World Championship runs, visit the fun park, race on the race routes or indulge in a spot of mogul skiing.
