Ski Chalet Details

Superb 5 star accommodation with spectacular panorama overlooking the Rhone valley.    Exclusive self-catering apartment for 8 with bags of room and even more style, suitable for group or family holidays. Spacious steam room,  zoned audio system,  log fire, underfloor heating,  wifi internet,  ski room, parking and garage.  Transfers from Geneva airport, Sion airport or railway station can be arranged.

Rental Facilities

The penthouse covers the top two floors of a new chalet which was completed in 2007.    The lower floor comprises 3 double or twin bedrooms (which can be configured as required); 1 ensuite shower room; 1 large bathroom with shower; 1 fully equipped, modern kitchen and dining area plus a huge lounge with log fire and double height glazed wall. 

Upstairs is an equally vast sitting room. designed for relaxed TV or film sessions.  Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and steam room suitable for up to 6 people are all on this upper level.

A cot and baby high chair are available on request.

There is underfloor heating throughout the apartment and an integrated state of the art sound system which has speakers built into every room.  It is possible for guests to watch a DVD in one bedroom; listen to an iPod in another; tune into the radio in another; and listen to a CD in a fourth.

In the basement is the ski room with lockers.  And outside you'll find a garage plus separate parking space.

There is a danger that you'll find yourself so comfortable indoors that you'll forget about the world class skiing which is on the doorstep.

Chalet Food

SECRET ALPS is essentially self-catering.   Grocery shops, supermarkets  and restaurants take a 10 minute stroll to the  town centre.  

But for those who do not want to cook in the evening there are two other options.  You can either have a pre-cooked 3 course dinner delivered to the apartment in the evening for you to serve at your own convenience or book the chef to come along and prepare a 5-course grastronomique experience in the apartment.  The chef will bring everything needed, cook, serve and clear it all away at the end of the evening. 

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Secret Alps is in Nendaz, Switzerland

Located about 500 metres from the Tracouet cable car, SECRET ALPS is in a quiet location with a jaw-dropping panorama of the Rhone valley.

Parking is available at the property.  A new free ski shuttle bus stops at the door on the return from the lift station. In addition there is an established (free) shuttle bus which runs from Nendaz (cable car station) to Siviez.

Nendaz is an excellent gateway to the 4 Valleys ski domain, an enormous area which offers everything from simple nursery slopes (available in the Nendaz sector) to challenging off-piste routes for the seriously experienced.  The whole area stretches some 412 km from Verbier right over to Thyon.

Siviez, sometimes known as Super Nendaz, is a short drive away.  From there there are lifts up to Tortin (2050m)  and thence to Mont Fort (3330m) or a newly upgraded link over in the other direction to Combatseline (2238m).  

All of this adds up world-class ski-ing for all abilities without the crowds.
