Ski Chalet Details

Le Chalet Enchanteur is a recently built luxury chalet opening for winter 2008. A smart contemporary design, with an unusual architectual feature of split level floors, all communal living area including the stairs have been tiled throughout with stunning ivory travertine tiles.

The chalet is centrally located, very close to bars and restaurants which are literally 1-2 minutes away. The lift station is about 5 minutes walk although there is a complementary shuttle service to and from the chalet.

The chalet is snugly wrapped in handsome local timber and generously filled with feather duvets, comfy leather sofas and a split level glass fronted fire visible from both the lounge and the dining room, altogether offering a wonderful relaxing experience.

Keep in touch with the latest football results or sports events with Satillite TV or surf the net with WiFi internet connection.

Think boutique-hotel chic without the need to dress for dinner and furnishing that are made for relaxing on and not looking at.

 Nendaz is situated in the mountains high above the Rhone Valley, near Sion, the capital of the Valais. Nestled in the heart of the 4 Valleys ski region at an altitude of circa 1500 metres, it provides everything a winter sports enthusiast could possibly ask for.

A friendly and modern holiday resort, Nendaz lies in the ski region neighbouring Verbier, Veysonnaz, La Tsoumaz and Thyon with 412 km of pistes and 92 transport facilities. Also belonging to the Nendaz valley community is Siviez, sometimes known as ‘Super Nendaz’, from where there are cable cars running to Mont Fort, the highest peak of the 4 Valleys ski area. There are also off-piste activities with 12 km of cross-country ski trails, 100 km of winter hiking trails and 40 km of snowshoe tracks.

• Grande Dixence Reservoir: The highest reservoir in the world at 285 m
• Sion: The capital of the Valais with imposing fortress and historic townscape
• Saillon-les-Bains: Neolithic and Roman town with thermal baths
• Grottensee near St-Leonard: From March to November, boat trips across undergound lake between Sion and Sierre
• International Alpine Horn Festival: The largest festival of its kind in Switzerland which takes place in July
• Gran Raid: Longest and hardest mountain bike ride in the world: 131 km course from Verbier to Grimentz via Nendaz which takes place in August
• Guitar Festival: Each July and August, classical guitar concerts take place with Russian, South American and baroque music.

Situated in the heart of the Four Valleys at an altitude of 1500 metres, the resort of Nendaz shares over 400 km of pistes with the neighbouring ski resort of Verbier.

D i r e c t i o n s

By Road:Follow the motorway A9 to Sion and exit at the Sion-Ouest junction signposted for Nendaz. Your journey to Haute Nendaz will take 15-20 minutes from the motorway.

By Air:The following airports are within easy access of Nendaz:Geneva Airport (approx 1 hour 45 minutes from Nendaz by car).Zurich Airport (approx 3 hours from Nendaz by car).Sion Airport (approx 25 minutes from Nendaz by car) .

By Rail:We offer our guests a private shuttle bus service from Sion, which can be accessed by train. Trains run regularly between Geneva airport and Sion. By Bus:Nendaz can be accessed easily by a regular bus service to and from Sion. The timetable is available on the following link:Geneva Airport (approx 1 hour 45 minutes from Nendaz by car).Within the resort of Nendaz itself, there is a shuttle bus which runs regularly between the Nendaz cablecar and Siviez. This is free of charge with the purchase of a ski pass.
