Ski Chalet Details

Tranquility, charm and comfort were the inspiration for this chalet which was designed and built in 2004. This stunning, traditional alpine chalet with wonderful panoramic views of the mountains is situated in Morzine. Located just eight minutes easy walk from the town square and ski lifts, this chalet offers the convenience of being near the town centre combined with a peaceful setting. The interior of this rustic chalet is absolutely beautiful with all furniture made from local wood to create a truly mountain refuge atmosphere. The Alpine Refuge comes complete with a sauna and hot tub that can seat six people - perfect after a day's skiing for soaking away those aches and pains with a glass of champagne.

The Alpine Refuge has all the qualities you could wish for from a superior chalet. The open-plan lounge and dining area with log fire leads onto a covered terrace and balcony with spectacular scenery. There is a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities including satellite tv, dvd, stereo and board games. The chalet sleeps 10-12 depending upon the nature of the group, and consists of five twin/double ensuite bedrooms with bath or shower. All rooms come with bed linen, towels and hairdryer. The chalet is located at the end of a private driveway, making it an attractive and safe environment for children, with ample parking for several cars.

Ground floor: comprises a sauna and hot tub with shower and wc; ski storage area; twin bedroom with ensuite shower, washbasin and WC.

First floor: open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen; double bedroom with ensuite shower and washbasin; twin bedroom with ensuite shower and washbasin; separate WC.

Second floor: second mezzanine lounge; double bedroom with ensuite bath and washbasin, twin bedroom with ensuite shower and washbasin; separate wc. There is an extra room with bunk beds on this floor suitable for children sharing their parent's ensuite facilities.

The Super Morzine lift is located within 8 minutes walk of the Chalet. However, for an efficient start to your ski day we also offer a courtesy minibus run to get you to the varying slopes and access points of the Portes du Soleil. For those who perhaps wish to have a lie in, the free local shuttle bus also stops directly opposite the chalet drive.

We are located 8 minutes walk from the SuperMorzine lift and the center of resort. Even though we are within easy walking distance of the lifts we still offer a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus stops just at the end of the private drive.
