La Tete de L'elephant is a recently built traditional chalet situated in the village of Saint Jean D'Aulps, adjacent to Avoriaz and Morzine. This self-catered chalet offers, high quality, comfortable accommodation for up to 8 people.
La Tete de L'elephant is only a short walk from the villages local ammenities and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains.
Ski Chalet Details
La Tete de l'elephant is a traditional style chalet built in 2006 that sleeps up to 8 people (plus 2 additional children). This beautiful alpine chalet surrounded by beautiful mountains and magnificent scenery is in the pretty village of St Jean D'Aulps. The chalet benefits from its own skiing at La Grande Terche and is a 10 minute drive to the main telecabines in Ardent (access Avoriaz/Chatel), Morzine and Les Gets. There is just a short walk into the village with its small shops, bars and restaurants; however it is elevated sufficiently to benefit from fabulous valley views.
The chalet is fully furnished complete with wood burning stove, underfloor heating and a quality granite surfaced kitchen with dishwasher.
The chalet is offered on a self catering basis for 8 people, it has five bedrooms, lounge/dining area, large outdoor covered decks, 2 bathrooms, a car port and a heated utility/boot room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The bedrooms comprise 3 king size bedded rooms with the final 2 bedrooms set up as a 'kids den' with 2 adjoining rooms with 3X2 bunk beds, TV, playstation and DVD.

The chalet is offered on a self catered basis. A large Carrefour supermarket is within 5 minutes drive and there are 2 boulangeries and a mini market in St Jean. There are approximately 10 bars and restuarants in the village and above in La Grande Terche - all within 5 minutes.
