Ski Chalet Details

Chalet Morin is owned and run by Morzine Holidays, a company privately owned and run by Mark and Helen Daley.  Our aim is to provide quality chalets at affordable prices.  We believe in freedom of choice so you choose the sort of ski holiday you want – self catered, breakfast only, fully catered or occasional catering.

Chalet Morin is a massive chalet of 450m2 with unparalleled living accommodation.  It was designed and built by a local architect (Morin) for his own use and is truly unique.  The lounge is vast at over 550 square foot, with lots of seating and an incredible inglenook fireplace that alone will seat 8 people.  In the lounge there is widescreen TV with Sky, digital film and music libraries as well as free internet access.

There is a separate dining room which actually seats 26 people, a fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker, 11 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and a brand new hot tub in the huge garden (2,500m2).  In the basement there is a  fully equipped games room with table tennis, pool, darts, table football, Xbox and Playstation 2 games consoles.  There is also a separate large TV room with books, games, Sky TV, DVD and video.  Internet access is available via a terminal in the TV room and WIFI is available throughout the chalet.

Chalet Food

Catering packages are available and range from occasional catering to bed and breakfast through to fully catered.  The catering is done by experienced chalet staff and a qualified chef.

Breakfast is available and consists of freshly baked bread, cereals, eggs, bacon, croissants, fruit, tea and coffee on 6 mornings. The 7th morning consists of a continental style breakfast. 

Afternoon tea is served daily and consists of tea, hot chocolate, coffee and home made cakes or pastries.

A four course dinner will be provided on 6 evenings and is served with unlimited local wine. Please specify any dietary requirements on booking.  A typical menu would be:-

• Caramelised onion and camembert tart served with raspberry coulis
• Beef bourgignon served with garlic sauteed potatoes and pepper and mange tout stir fry
• Raspberry torte served with fresh cream. 
• Cheese and fresh coffee

Chalet Morin is situated in a picture postcard setting.  It is set in an elevated position in grounds approaching an acre with fabulous views of the mountains. There is plenty of secure parking - but as Chalet Morin is only a 15 - 20 minute walk away from Morzine and 250m to the free ski bus - cars are not necessary.  The bus takes 3 minutes to the Super Morzine lift (for Avoriaz). 

We can organise airport transfers and local daily lift transfers if required.  We also offer a free shuttle service into town on 3 evenings for our guests. The huge grounds are great for kids – big and small.
