Ski Chalet La Cordee offers you the best of both worlds on your catered ski holiday - a fantastic tranquil location with beautiful views overlooking the ski resort of Morzine, yet just a five minute walk and you’re amongst the vast selection of shops, bars and restaurants Morzine centre has to offer. 800m walk from our catered ski chalet La Cordee and you are also at the ski lift ‘Super Morzine’, taking you straight into the heart of the ski area the Portes du Soleli – the largest ski area in the world!

 Catered ski chalet La Cordee, which is set out over two floors, has been beautifully renovated and offers five large ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to fourteen guests. The spacious living/dining room has a welcoming open log fire and also a large balcony leading off from it – a great spot for afternoon sunbathing. And for that much needed wind down after a hard day on the slopes, catered ski chalet La Cordee has a good sized sauna and relaxation room.

 Our complimentary minibus service to and from the slopes takes just a few minutes and there is also a free public bus which stops just 100m from the door of the ski chalet.

Chalet Food

We believe that food is one of the key components to your catered ski chalet holiday. We therefore review and adapt our menus regularly to ensure we are offering great quality dishes every night of the week. Using fresh, local produce, we cook all our meals from scratch providing a well deserved end to a day’s skiing.

On your arrival there will be a Champagne reception, with juices for the younger members of the family. On top of our buffet style French breakfast to start the day, our breakfast menu allows your party to pick and choose what each individual would like as a cooked option. On you arrival back from the slopes, there will be a cake or selection of biscuits/slices for you to help yourself to as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate, which is available for you at all times. Around 7pm, we will offer you an aperitif to your three course dinner; you can then have a glass of port to go with our selection of a different regional French cheese each evening, rounding off the meal with coffee and mints.

Breakfast is served six days per week, allowing for staff day off where everything will be setup for you to serve yourself. Afternoon tea will be laid out ready for your return from the slopes six days per week. Evening meals are provided six nights out of seven to allow you a night to sample some of the great restaurants and bars Morzine has to offer.

All our wines come from a great shop in Chamonix – ChaChaCha where we have personally selected some great wines to compliment our dishes. We also have a selection of superior wines allowing you to upgrade at an additional cost if you wish. Wine is unlimited while enjoying your evening meal.
This is your holiday so please let us know if you have any serious food dislikes or allergies before you arrive and we will happily adapt the menu to suit your party needs.

For groups with children, if you like, we can provide a separate sitting with an alternative list of options. This will be agreed with you before arrival.

A ski resort with something for everyone

Not only does Morzine have everything you could look for in a ski resort offering – a traditional, picturesque mountain village, ski runs for all skier levels, great snow and weather conditions, excellent choice of après ski and restaurants but it is set in the heart of the Portes du Soleli, the largest linked ski area in the world, giving you access to 650km of ski slopes and miles of off piste. The area covers 12 stations with a vast range of skiing over both France and Switzerland and it’s all on one ski pass!

Being the most northerly ski resort in France, Morzine experiences much better snow than other resorts at a similar relatively low height. And later in the season the slopes up at Avoriaz (just a few minutes away) offer snow sure conditions which are suited to all abilities and family ski groups.
