Morzine is approximately 8 hours drive from the channel ports and it is best to avoid the Paris area. The motorways through Champagne country always provide a pleasant route with little or no traffic and after leaving Calais it is best to head towards Reims. The route continues through Troyes and Dijon before turning for Geneva at Bourg en Bresse.

If you prefer to fly there are many routes in to our nearest airport (Geneva) from the UK and easyjet are usually the best for price. Geneva airport is just over an hour from Morzine and all of the main car hire firms have desks there. Please note that we strongly advise you to bring your own transport to this chalet.

Please note that cheaper rentals from the French sector of the airport can be problematic. It is difficult to navigate out of this area and their vehicles are not normally equipped with winter tyres and snow chains. The International / Swiss sector of the airport is much easier for car hire and the vehicles have all of the winter equipment as standard.
