Ski Chalet Details

The Chalet ‘L'Etoile des Vents' combines traditional alpine charm with modern facilities to give visitors a sense of Savoyard hospitality in a comfortable environment. Set on the hillside above the town of Morzine the Chalet provides an ideal base for people of all ages and offers spectacular views of the surrounding area. From the balconies it is possible to admire the Pointe de Nyon mountain and the distinctive Dents Blanches that emphasize the close proximity to the Swiss border. Once inside the Chalet our guests can relax in a real ‘home from home' atmosphere in the living and dining areas whilst delicious and filling meals are prepared in the modern kitchen area.

The Chalet sleeps 11 people at capacity in 4 bedrooms and is spacious enough to add a cot in any of the bedrooms for a very young guest! All bedrooms have been decorated to a high standard in keeping with traditional Savoyard craftsmanship, and give a sense of warmth and cosiness as the snow falls outside the windows. There are 2 bathrooms, both equipped with a full size bath to relax those aching limbs, and 2 separate WC's.

The price of your holiday with Host Savoie includes;

a hearty buffet style breakfast,

freshly baked cakes with afternoon tea,

and a filling 4 course evening meal, prepared with fresh produce and served with plenty of local wine! A sample of an evening menu is shown below but we are happy to cater for all dietary requirements including the provision of an early children's dinner.

Ski Chalet Chalet L'Etoile des Vents is in Morzine, France

Chalet L'Etoile des Vents is located on the hillside above the town of Morzine and offers guests some of the best views in the Alps from its balconies. The elevated position ensures a peaceful night of sleep and offers children a large open snow field to sledge and build snowmen in a safe environment. The town centre is approximately 15 minutes walk (perhaps 20 minutes on the way back up the hill!), but for the less energetic we provide minibus shuttles to the town centre in the afternoon and after dinner. We also provide minibus transport to and from the lift of your choice but it is actually possible to ski very close to the chalet. The main return piste for Morzine runs behind the chalet (snow permitting), and there is a junction of 2 chairlifts approximately 200 metres up the road, providing a quiet and queue-free entry into the Morzine-Nyon-Les Gets ski circuit.
