Ski Chalet Details

Brand New Luxury 5* Chalet overlooking Morzine town centre.

This chalet will appeal to those looking for that extra bit of luxury and is also available for corporate lets. The chalet sleeps a maximum of 8 in 4 bedrooms.

The chalet is located on the Route d'Avoriaz, the chalet suits self drivers or we offer a minibus service to/from the lifts at extra charge. It is about a 20min walk into town and approx. a 25min walk back up.

The chalet has been finished to the highest specification with contemporary furnishings.

There is a parking space for 1 car with further parking available.

There is also secure ski/board/bike storage. Included in the rental cost are pillows, duvets, and bed linen and bath towels for the number booked.

Bathmat and hand towel for the bathrooms are also supplied.

Chalet Food

Snow and Trek pride themselves on the high level of cuisine provided in Chalet L’Ensoleille.

Breakfast is a relaxed affair in the form of a buffet. There is a daily selection of cereals, freshly baked bread, croissants, pain au chocolat and pain raisin. Along with yogurts, fruit juice, fresh fruit bowl, fresh coffee and tea. A cooked choice is available between 8am and 9am. Breakfast is cleared at 9.30am *Note: On the chalet staff day off there is no cooked option or croissants. 

Afternoon tea is available for you on your return from the slopes when you can sample our freshly baked cakes or biscuits along with bread, jam, tea and coffee.

 Dinner is prepared 6 nights out of 7 by the chalet chef. We offer a 4 course set menu (3 courses in the summer). The menu is designed by Adam who trained at the Savoy Hotel, London and was then a Sous Chef at Langhams Brasserie, Mayfair before turning to restaurant management. Served with dinner is a selection of fine wines from our chalet cave. These are selected each year by Adam and sourced directly from the vineyard or co-operative.

We can provide an early children's supper and cater for all manner of dietary requirements.

Ski Chalet Chalet L'Ensoleille is in Morzine, France

Morzine-Avoriaz is in the heart of the Portes du Soleil one of the largest ski areas in the world.  

Set between Geneva and Mont Blanc, Morzine has a beautiful alpine charm and has retained much of its heritage and culture. 

Should you be a powder lover or someone who prefers to take it easy on the slopes, the local area along with the rest of the Portes du Soleil  is able to offer an immense variety of runs, with 280 lifts covering 13 linked French and Swiss ski resorts with over 650 kilometers of runs.

Skiing & Boarding – Morzine-Avoriaz is one of the top resorts in the world (ranked 5th by the Daily Telegraph Travel Awards) with slopes of suit everyone. Beginners can learn in safety in the Lindarets bowl or on the gentle slopes of Pleney. Intermediates are spoiled for choice and can ski/board to a different resort each day. Advanced skiers can tackle the tour of the Portes du Soleil seeing how many resorts we can get to in one day and for the more adventurous we can arrange off-piste trips e.g. The Valley de la Manche. 

Off the Piste Alternatives - For those who are looking for an alternative, Morzine offers a variety of other activities including ice skating, spas and beauty treatments, walking, snow shoe walks excellent shopping, cinemas and of course many bars and restaurants. We are also only a short drive from Evian and Thonon les Bains both spa towns on Lake Geneva. There is also the charming old town of Annecy less than an hour's drive away with its canals and excellent restaurants and shops
