Ski Chalet Details

Chalet Koala is a spacious 9 bedroomed chalet sleeping up to 28, comfy lounge with log fire and a warm welcome to all our guests many returning each year.

Everyone is welcome; single travellers, couples, familes or groups of friends and the chalet can be rented out on an exclusive basis.

Koala is just five minutes to the Ardent lift, with a free bus stopping at the end of our drive, for quick access to the areas of Avoriaz, Chatel and into Switzerland.

There is  bathroom and seperate toilet on this floor with a door to close off the area  from the stairwell making it into a two bedroom appartment - great for families

We also have two cots that will fit into most rooms, a high chair, stair gate, change mat, stroller type buggy.....

Chalet Food

The day starts with a hearty buffet style breakfast of  freshly baked breads, yogurts, fruit, cereals, cold meat, cheese to name but a few...

Afternoon tea will be waiting for you when you return from the slopes to help bridge that gap before the delicious three course evening feast with selected wines on six nights and we can also offer an earlier two course children's supper.

• Goat's cheese and cranberry filo parcels served on a bed of dressed baby salad and herb leaves

• Lamb tagine with dates and sweet potatoes served with harissa couscous

• Chocolate, ginger and praline bombe

There are facilities for hot drinks available throughout the day

Ski Chalet Chalet Koala is in Morzine, France

Chalet Koala is in the heart of the world's largest linked ski area, the Portes du Soleil with over 650km of marked pistes; we are just five minutes from the Ardent lift giving quick access to the areas of Avoriaz, Chatel and into Switzerland.

We are also well situated for short breaks with Geneva our nearest airport just 75 minutes away!  Leave the UK in the morning and be on the slopes for lunchtime or even earlier, we can arrange your transfers, ski hire, lessons etc.

The winter snow melts and the mountains turn into alpine pastureswith flora and funa in abundance, ski slopes turn into mountain bike tracks and the mountain golf courses appear!

Summer is an adrenaline junkies paradise with white water rafting, parapenting, grass boarding, climbing, bungy jumping and lots more.

Chalet Koala is a great base also for exploring the area with Chamonix just over an hour and also the Mont Blanc tunnel for a trip into Italy, Lake Geneva is just 30 minutes or so.......  So much to do a week is not long enough!

The local tourist offices also have a programme of events both winter and summer to keep guests entertained with night skiing, husky rides or big firework displays and mediveal festivals in the summer.
