Ski Chalet Details

Perched just above Morzine, between the pistes of Nyon and the Pleney. Chalet Gentiane is a newly built chalet in typical "Savoie" style. It sleeps up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms and is ideal for families and groups. Gentiane is situated 1 km out of the town centre and during normal snow conditions it is possible to ski in/ski out. It has magnificent views over Morzine and the majestic "Hauts Forts" and "les Dents Blanches".

Our aim is to make you feel "at home" and we hope you will find everything you need and more. The chalet has central heating, comfortable bedrooms with adequate storage space, large open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with, open fire, flat screen tv (sky), dvd, ipod dock, play station, some more traditional games, books and magazines. There is also a spacious sundeck with hot tub and a sauna within the chalet.

Chalet Food

We can guarantee that you will be some of the best fed people in Morzine during your stay at Chalet Gentiane. The day begins with a hearty breakfast, which includes freshly baked bread and pastries, local jams and honey, porridge, home made muesli and cereals, fresh fruit, yogourts, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and a hot breakfast option which changes daily. When you return from the mountain we will have afternoon tea with mouth-watering homemade cakes awaiting you. Come the evening and you will be tantalized by an elegant "restaurant standard" 4 course meal complete with fine French AOC wines and a daily selection of AOC cheese. If you are  vegeterian or have special dietary requirements there will be no need to worry, but it will help us if we know this in advance. Also we will provide nourishing home made kids meals for those of you with "nippers", and we will do our best to fit in with your schedule regarding their dinner time.

The one thing we can't guarantee during your stay will be the weather and the snow conditions, but we certainly can provide you with a gourmet experience to remember!  See our website for sample menus!

Chalet Gentiane is situated just over 1 km from Morzine village. The home run from the Les Fys chair runs directly behind the chalet where you can easily ski or board to the bottom of the Pleney in the village.
