Chalet Renard Rouge is a luxury, south-facing chalet-style apartment located in Les Fermes de Méribel-Village. Centrally located in the old village of Méribel, Chalet Renard Rouge is just steps from the Telesiege du Golf chairlift which connects to the Altiport chairlift and from there to the entire Three Valleys network avoiding any lift queues in the main resort. Lift passes can be purchased next to the chair lift, thus avoiding any delays and the piste that returns skiers to the village has a number of snow canons ensuring season-round access. Meribel-Village is ever more bustling with its boulangerie, supermarket, ski shop, restaurants and one of Meribel’s best après-ski bars, the Lodge du Village.
Chalet Renard Rouge accommodates up to eight guests in three individually furnished ensuite bedrooms (two double, one with a west-facing balcony and one twin) and a very pretty bunk-bedded room with large bathroom. Complimentary linen, towels, bathrobes, luxurious bathroom amenities and hairdryers are provided. The chalet is cleaned each morning.
The spacious open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen area has a large open log fireplace, antique furniture and a south-facing balcony with expansive views across the valley. Above the sitting room a mezzanine level acts as a secluded TV and reading room. There is also a Jacuzzi, sauna and broadband Internet access as well as washing machine, tumble dryer and DVD player. A ski locker and heated boot warmer is located in the basement. Telephone, fax, laundry facilities and in-house massages are available at an additional cost. This chalet is no-smoking and is not suitable for children under three years of age.

Ski Chalet Chalet Renard Rouge is in Meribel, France
The Méribel valley is one of the largest of the French Alps extending from Brides–les-Bains at 600m to Péclet-Polset at 3,560m. The town has 57 ski lifts in its immediate vicinity to serve 74 groomed ski runs that total 150 kilometres. One popular run is the Olympic women’s downhill run and as the epicentre of the world’s largest ski domain, there are endless stretches of off-piste. Queuing is a rarity thanks to a new electronic lift pass system unveiled in the 06/07 season, two 50 person cable cars, over 40 gondolas and 25 high speed chair lifts.
The Méribel valley, including the purpose-built Mottaret area, suits skiers of all levels. Beginners can cruise down the wide gentle slopes of the Altiport, a tree-lined area ideal for those experiencing snow for the first time. For Intermediates, the range of runs is almost limitless with 89 blue and 116 red runs. For the truly Advanced skier every day here is filled with challenges and adventures, be it acres of off-piste, endless mogul runs or simply kilometres of groomed perfection.
Méribel has two areas dedicated to free-style riders. In Meribel-Mottaret there is the Plattières snowpark with its 17 acres - over a length of 1,300 yards - of jumps, whoops, banks and two half-pipes. The Méribel Moonpark offers one competition-standard half pipe, one half-pipe for learners and a boarder cross with whoops, tables and other obstacles.
Méribel, Courchevel and La Tania offer 90 km of cross-country tracks, green and blues for beginners and red for more experienced Nordic skiers.
For those not skiing there are many mountain restaurants accessible by car or on foot where you can meet up with the skiing members of your party for lunch and we can also advise you on local walks as well as other activities such as toboganning, parapenting, swimming, ice skating, tennis, squash and quad biking. In addition, the beautiful Lac de Tueda is the perfect spot from which to appreciate the snow-clad peaks without donning skis or a board.

Meribel is situated in the heart of the 3 Valleys, the worlds largest ski area. In Meribel alone you have access to 15 gondola lifts and 19 chair lifts. With all chalets being built form traditional local stone and wood, the village blends in perfectly to its surrounds and offers some stunning...
