Les Crosets

Find Chalets Resort Guide to Les Crosets

This family-oriented village at 1'668m altitude is the ideal jumping off point for anyone who wants to explore the Portes du Soleil.

This is also the perfect place to enjoy a multitude of sporting activities. Winter sports schools offer an initiation to this superb region. Thrill-seekers in search of an adrenaline rush will find their heart's desire at the Snowpark or on the famous Pas de Chavanette mogul slope, better known as "the Wall". In summer, visitors can take off on one of the many mountain biking trails, while others may rather spend their time fishing in the Lac Vert or visiting the animal park at the Relais Panoramique. Yet others may want to stretch their wings at the Paragliding School or breach the Portes du Soleil Pass.

Skiing in Les Crosets

In winter, the resort has a quick link connection with France over the spectacular pointe des Mossettes lift (2,277m). The experienced instructors at the Swiss Ski School await beginner and advanced skiers and snowboarders alike for lessons and guiding. Freestylers can get their fill of thrills in the Snowpark which, according to those in the know, is one of the worlds best! The bravest may tackle Chavanette, otherwise known as the Swiss Wall.

This pass is a vital link between the French Haut Savoie and the Swiss Valais and lent its name to the now-famous recreational area. If all the activities Les Crosets has to offer are almost too much for you, you may want to take a minute to calm your spirits at one of many restaurants, gîtes and mountain refuges.

You will always find a sunny terrace, a warm welcome and a spectacular view, not to mention some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
