Ski Chalet Details

The farmhouse is perfect for relaxing in after a hard day on the slopes. Relieve your aches and pains in the sauna, then curl up in front of the fire in our spacious 'medieval' sitting room (formerly the stables), or take time out with a good book in the library. There are also several sunny terraces giving views over the village and surrounding mountainside.

Available on a shared or sole occupancy basis, the chalet sleeps up to 17 people and is ideal for couples, groups of friends or families (although the staircases and log stoves may make it unsuitable for toddlers). We're in a great spot for non-skiers too. There are good walks right on the doorstep if you want to go off and explore for the day (we can provide maps and walking notes).

Rental Facilities

The seven bedrooms are spacious and have their own luxury ensuite bath or shower rooms (except the triple room, which has a separate private shower across the hallway). All the beds have feather duvets and pillows, and are a delight to sink into after a hard day on the slopes (let us know if you have an allergy!).

The bedrooms comprise:

• 3 x double/twin room with ensuite shower rooms
• 1 x studio double room with ensuite shower room and kitchenette (ground floor of farmhouse with own entrance)
• 2x family rooms (double bed and bunk beds) with ensuite shower or bathrooms
• 1 x triple room (bunk bed and single bed) with separate private shower (across the hall)

The chalet also has a large sitting room and library, both with log stoves; an infrared sauna; wireless internet, TV with DVD and a stereo; a large kitchen and dining room; ski room and heated boot room. Outside there are several sunny terraces, a deck and lovely garden with village and mountain views.

Chalet Food

For our catered service, we use organic ingredients where possible, and source the best local produce and artisan foods according to the season. We prepare healthy breakfasts with a daily special, and a three course evening meals with wine. We also lay out on an old-fashioned afternoon tea in with home-made cakes, biscuits, and jams.

Ski Chalet Chalet Maison Caramel is in Les Arcs, France

Quaintly set on the hillside under a 17th century church, the farmhouse is on the edge of the alpine village of Landry, part of the Pesiey-Vallandry ski resort and right in the heart of the Paradiski domain (Les Arcs/La Plagne). It's just a short distance from the ski lifts and slopes of Les Arcs and La Plagne.

If you don't have a car, you can use either the free village shuttle bus or our minibus service. We can run you up to the lifts every morning and bring you back in the afternoon. The drive takes less than 10 mins to the lifts in Montchavin or the Arc 1600 funicular, and around 15 mins to Peisey.

If you self-drive, you'll also be able to explore the additional excellent skiing in the resorts of Ste Foy, Val d'Isere, Tignes and the Three Valleys (all within 20-60 mins drive of the farmhouse).

Reaching the farmhouse is straightforward by road (Calais 9 hours), rail (Eurostar/TGV direct to Landry - we can pick you up) and air (Chambery, Grenoble, Geneva, Lyon - all served by budget airlines and within 1-2hrs of the house). Return airport minibus transfers are available from £80 per person.
