Ski Chalet Details

Owned and run by Dave and Caz, who share a passion for the mountains and good food. The traditional village of Peisey is a great location to be based for exploring the massive Paradiski ski area of Les Arcs and La Plagne. We offer clean and comfortable twin en suite accommodation, log fire, DVD/Wifi and most importantly, superb cuisine from our experienced chef.

Rental Facilities

Catered service - Breakfast and afternoon tea everyday. 3 course meal with wine on 6 out of the 7 nights prepared by our experienced chef. Twin en suite rooms (1 double en suite). Comfortable living and dining area with log fire. DVD/Wifi/Playstation2. Help and advice on booking lift passes, ski equipment, transfers, ski lessons etc.

Chalet Food

A freshly baked cake, tart or perhaps brownies are waiting for your return from the mountain. A wonderful dinner with wine is the perfect end to an energetic day. Time to reflect on the day's adventure and refuel for the next. Caz has been cheffing for 13 years, and has created the irresistable 3 course menus from her experience of working in restaurants and luxury yachts around the world, from Sydney to London, Amsterdam to Wellington. Freshness, imagination but also simplicity is the essence of our cuisine. Sample menu - Goats cheese parcels with Beetroot relish. Seared fillet of NZ Lamb, with zuchini and feta risotto and rosemary jus. Baked lemon cheesecake with fresh passionfruit. All dietary requirements can be caterd for.

Ski Chalet Chalet Les Melezes is in Les Arcs, France

The chalet is located in the Villaret area of Peisey village, a 5-10 minute walk to the local lift, which wisks you up to the slopes of Plan Peisey and Vallandry. From here, choose to take the double decker 'Vanoise Express' gondola across to La Plagne or head over to Les Arcs on the fast chairlifts. 3 km (free bus ride away) up towards the end of the valley you will find the Vanoise National Park, home to breathtaking views of the glacial peaks, frozen waterfalls and rare bearded vultures. Here, you can take horse drawn sleds, husky pulled sleighs or simply walk or cross country ski.
