Your hosts offer a single suite, private and independant, which can accommodate 2 to 6 persons. Enjoy a drink on the south terrace, watch the sundown by the fire place, indulge with tasty home made dishes served in your dining room. Splendid views, peacefulness of the surroundings, pure nature.
Your suite is entierely independent and has its own entrance door on the southern terrace. It includes a paved room with a seating, 3 typical bedrooms, one bathroom (2 wash bassins, shower cabin, bath, washing machine) and a separate toilet.
The old communication door gives access to the lounge where you'll enjoy a drink by the fire place or on the balcony, watching the sun go down. The lounge opens to your private and cozy dining room where your meals are served.
The chalet is located halfway up the ski slopes, with a green run passing through the front yard bringing you directly to the chairlifts. From the chalet, the whole ski domain, its restaurants and its terraces are directly accessible, making it easy for you to ski in and out as much as you want, even for beginners.
Built in 1695 at 1500 m altitude, this authentic alpine farm has been beautifully converted into a unique private house and accommodation. The chalet is entirely made of massive timber and stone, in the traditional way of the Haute-Savoie in the 17th and 18th century. The richness of all its original details indoor and outdoor gives it an unique character and an incredible charm. On the sun deck, the tintinnabulation of the natural spring waters will welcome you.
In the living room, a central open fire place awaits you after a great day of ski, sunlight and snow. Bring comfy slippers, because no shoes are allowed further than the paved entrance.
Rooms & Services:The guest rooms are located in the old farming part of the chalet. Like the entire chalet, it is all build of massive timber and heated with a central hot-air system.There are 3 bedrooms: "le Levant", "la Source" and “la Colombière”, which are cosy and comfortable, offering goose feather duvets, mohair plaids, coton boutis, wool....One has a double bed and the 2 others have 2 single beds which can be made up as double beds. They are next to a private bathroom with shower cabin, bathtub and 2 wash basins, plus a private separate toilet. The 3 bedrooms are always booked together as a whole and exclusively, even for only 2 people. Bed-linen, bath towels and toiletries items are supplied, as well as ski maps & tourism info. To ensure a real change of scenery to our guests, the chalet is entirely music/Tv/smoke free. Your stay will be fully catered:
- a petit déjeuner in the morning with fruits salad, eggs, bread assortiment, home made jam ...
- coffee and home made cake served around the fire from 5 pm on
- a healthy 3 courses dinner, based on French and local specialties. (Local vin de Savoie included with dinner, extra drinks charged separately)
The quality family cooking of Crème de Chalet is based on french and local cuisine, depending on the inspiration of the day. Valley's specialty cheeses, savoie wines, local products, fresh salads, seasonnal fruits and veggies...
Besides our traditionnal offer, "health/organic" menus are available.
