Lake Louise is the largest of the ski areas in Banff.
Just five minutes from the lakeside of Lake Louise, and 45 minutes from Banff the slopes at Lake Louise are varied.
There are some fantastic cruising runs, lots of advanced runs and a great snowpark.
The in-the-tree skiing or boarding in the glades beneath the Ptarmigan Chairlift is the better of the two areas - but the Larch area is still a lot of fun.
