Ski Chalet Details

My name is Nick and I own and run Nick Ski which is an independant catered ski chalet company with just the one chalet run by myself and partner Joanna. I would like to share my passion for skiing and great food in a wonderful forest setting with you. In normal conditions the chalet is literally ski to the door. The new green run is 50 meters away from the chalet so everyone can ski home.

Chalet Juba was built 10 years ago and is in the pine (Norway Spruce) forests of La Tania which is situated between Courchevel and Meribel in the largest and best skiing area in the world known as The Three Valleys.

I know the whole area incredibly well and can advise on the best routes to take and the best runs to try.

We offer a Catered Chalet service (demi-pension, 6 nights a week). We select great wines from the autumn "Wine Fairs" and hope you enjoy them too. Joanna spent 15 years in the Food Industry and also teaches Food Hygiene. I have always loved cooking and together we have planned delicious meals for you. On our day off you fix your own breakfast and eat out in one of the local restaurants in the evening.

Our aim is to make your holiday a special and memorable occasion and many of our guests return each year.

Rental Facilities

I had the chalet built to my specifiation about 8 years ago and it can accommodate 12 people in 6 twin or double bedrooms, all have en-suite facilities, three also have balconies. There is always plenty of hot water for all the baths/showers and the interior of the chalet is a non-smoking area. The lounge has a wood-burning stove and plenty of space for everyone to sit comfortably on big leather sofas and relax after skiing. The large boot room on the ground floor has boot driers and there is also plenty of car parking space next to the chalet.

Chalet Food

Delicious home made 3 course dinner and specially selected different superior  wines 6 nights a week. Breakfast is  mixed of cooked and continental.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Chalet Juba is in La Tania, France

Chalet Juba is positioned in the beautiful pine forests of La Tania at a height of 1400 metres and with snow cannons lining the runs down to resort you will always be able to ski back down. The new easy/green run home, Plan Fontaine now has snow cannons and is only 50m from the chalet.

The village of La Tania is between Courchevel and Meribel in the Three Valleys area of France and is arguably the best and the largest ski area in the world.

The village has access to the 3 Valleys area by 2 modern high speed lifts which then give you the option of skiing into Courchevel or Meribel (and onto Val Thorens).

In normal conditions it is possible to ski from and back to the door of the chalet.
