Chatel Practicalities

Practical information and Apres Ski guide to Chatel

The holiday town of Chatel is tucked away in the Portes du Soleil, and though very popular with the French, does not get as many foreign visitors as some of its neighbours. This does have the advantage of lending it a very traditional rustic charm.

Bars and clubs

Kick off apres at evalanche, move on to the Le R'bat Bar for some live music to take you to dinner. Le Break next, then dance until first lifts at The Discoteque at the base of Super Chatel.

Eating

Chez Francis does great pizza, Le Grizzli is good for grills and tartiflette, La Table dAntoine is the place if you've got a date to impress. Domain Chaux des Rosees does delicious crepes on the pistes.
