Ski Chalet Details

The chalet boasts a fantastic south facing location overlooking the village.  It has five ensuite bedrooms sleeping up to fifteen people.  There are also two large sitting rooms, one with an open fire.  There are two double bedrooms and three family rooms each sleeping a family of four easily.  All bathrooms are ensuite, all with showers and some with baths too.  Some bedrooms also have private balconies.

Rental Facilities

The chalet also has ample ski and boot storage and somewhere warm to dry out ski gear overnight.

The chalet also offers plenty of parking for self drive guests.  For those wanting to fly into Geneva and not hire a car we do offer an additional transport package including aiport transfers and a shuttle to and from the slopes each day for just 140 euros per adult for the week and 70 euros for children.

Chalet Food

Let your day begin with a hearty breakfast, which during the Winter season will include a cooked breakfast.

On your return to the chalet in the afternoon, tea will be available, along with a satisfying home baked treat from the kitchen.

In the evening, dinner will begin with drinks and nibbles, followed by a four course home cooked meal, accompanied with quality bottled wine.  Finally coffee will be served by the fire.

Ski Chalet Le Chat Feroce is in Chatel, France

The chalet sits on the sunny slopes just above the village of La Chapelle d'Abondance, a charming, traditional alpine village with its own lift system giving direct access to the Portes du Soleil ski area.  The nearest lift is at the bottom of the road, 1 kilometre away. 

Also at the bottom of the road is the Fer Rouge micro brewery and restaurant, which brews its own beer, including bitter!

The village centre is 1200 metres away, offering a selection of restaurants and shops.

Chatel and its ski lifts are a five minute drive away.
