Times Chalet Chef Competition Finalists 2010

This lovely chalet in the Chamonix valley comfortably sleeps ten in 5 spacious ensuite rooms, here you can savour the warmth of the open log fire in winter, enjoy a barbie in the summer, or simply relax with a glass of champagne in the outdoor hot tub in any season!!

Ski in, ski out from the chalet ...AND we offer free transport to other ski areas...

One of the few truly ski in, ski out chalets in the Chamonix Valley, it is perfectly situated right on the blue piste of Les Houches, which is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. Simply step into your skis, or strap on your snowboard, and you are ready to ski straight off the property and onto the piste.

At the end of the day, you can ski straight back into the chalet - to be greeted with a steaming hot cup of tea and freshly baked cakes whilst you relax in front of the roaring log fire.

NOT ONLY are we ski in ski out, but we offer free transport to the other ski areas in Chamonix Valley to make sure you get the most out of your lift pass !

Ease those aching limbs in the hot tub

After your long hard day of skiing, walking or climbing, nothing is better than being able to relax those aching muscles sipping Champagne in the hot tub, laughing with friends, whilst the sunset turns the snow-capped mountains all-around a rich shade of burgundy.

Rental Facilities

If you are tired, or the weather isn't so great, you can chill out on the sofa to a DVD watched on the enormous 42" plasma screen, surf the internet - using either the guest computer, or via the Wi-Fi installed in the chalet - or curl up with one of the hundreds of books available for you to enjoy in the lounge.

Our philosophy on Chalet Food

Firstly, it is not about us.  Afterall, it is your holiday.
Thus, we tailor our meals to fit your food preferences - whilst all the time trying to ensure we deliver tasty, mouth-watering dishes that get you salivating..

Maison Jaune was in the final three in our class in the Times Chalet Chef Competition 2010 which culminated in a cook-off in London, judged by a panel of seven judges, including Michelin-starred chef, Tom Aikens.

Consequently we are extremely fired up about our cooking this season, and we are really looking forward to serving you some fantastic, new dishes.
