Ice and Orange offer you Chalet Tissières, a luxury catered chalet in Chamonix, providing winter ski holidays in Chamonix Month-Blanc and summer activity holiday accommodation.

Being an experienced owner run chalet in Chamonix, enables us to offer our guests genuine hospitality filled with personal touches & great service. Our local knowledge along with our chalet’s modern luxuries will ensure that your ski holiday in Chamonix is as it should be; fun, relaxing, excellent cuisine & wine and the best skiing Chamonix has to offer.

Chalet Tissières is a wonderful traditional 16th century converted farmhouse. Today it offers our guests the following features:

• 8 to 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, sleeping 16 to 24 people in winter and up to 33 in summer (see bedroom layout chart below for details).
• All our beds can be configured into either doubles or twins.
• Hot Tub (Outdoor 8 man Swedish design)
• Plasma Big screen TV with video & DVD with UK SKY TV package (including Sports channels)
• Large Open Plan Seating & Dining area with a huge cosy open fire place

Chalet Food

We believe that excellent, restaurant standard, cuisine is an integral part of our holiday experience and naturally we set our standards high. You will find that a passion for both French, British and Global cuisine is reflected in our tasty menus with total emphasis placed on using only the freshest and whenever possible local ingredients.

Home cooking is a great backbone to our cuisine at Chalet  Tissieres, but we love to take this further and explore; utilising influences from Europe & further a field.

Our chef prepares great classic cakes, tarts and a selection of mouth watering canapes for tea after you return from a days skiing.

Our supper menus combine comfort flavours, with a crisp clean style. Variation spanning seafood, game and classical meat dishes. Vegetarians are certainly not an afterthought and are an integral part of the menu planning.

Deserts are the lasting impression of any dining experience and at Chalet Tissieres you can expect a great range spanning from English style puddings, French classics to some more bold creations.

Ski Resort and Chalet Location

Ski Chalet Chalet Tissieres is in Chamonix, France

Chalet Tissières is based in one of the many villages and hamlets stretched out along the Chamonix valley commune called 'Les Bossons' (1012m). This hamlet boasts Europe's longest glacier (the Bossons Glacier). The 1924 winter Olympics ski jump event was held at the foot of this glacier, just a 3 minute stroll up the road from the chalet.

Being located on the north-eastern side of the valley makes it all the more accessible as this is the side you enter the valley when coming from Geneva airport. It takes les than 5 minutes to get you to the hustle and bustle of Chamonix town centre which is only 3 km away. There is a public bus stop only 100 meters away where you can catch a bus at regular times to any of the valley's ski stations. However, as part of our winter holiday package every morning we drop you off at your desired ski station and pick you up at the end of the day. We have 2 restaurants at walking distance. The nearest bar is a 15 minute walk along the river.
