Ski Chalet Details

At the foot of Mont Blanc you will find the wonderful “Chalet La Moraine”. The traditional exterior of the chalet has been maintained but hides a chic interior.

The large glass fronted lounge offers spectacular views of the peaks and glaciers of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Massif.

Relaxation is easy at Chalet La Moraine, there is large garden and the huge deck has a magnificent outdoor Jacuzzi to help you recover from a challenging day on the slopes, alternatively, you can head straight to the indoor sauna.

The stylish open plan living area has a large leather sofa, a roaring designer wood burning stove and large plasma Sony TV with full Sky package (including Sports and movies).

To keep you entertained there is a DVD player with an extensive DVD collection, a PlayStation with a selection of games, board-games and free unlimited wi-fi internet. All the bedrooms have TVs & DVDs too.

The Chalet is self catering and the kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table comfortably seats 10.

La Moraine has 5 bedrooms which can be made up as either superking double or twins. All the bedrooms have either ensuite or private bathrooms (all with lovely large baths) and there is also a shower by the sauna.

Rental Facilities

Bedrooms: All the bedrooms have 2 beds which can be made up as either superking doubles or twins entirely to your requirements. The beds are handmade & the mattresses pocketsprung to ensure an excellent nights sleep.

Bathrooms: There are 3 ensuite & 2 private bathrooms. All have lovely large baths, the 3 ensuite have integrated shower, the 2 private bathrooms have shower attachments. There is also a walk-in shower & separate toilet opposite the sauna.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 Siemens ovens & hobs, a really quiet Siemens dishwasher, 2 microwaves & an American fridge/freezer with ice maker.

Utility Room: There is a washing machine & tumble dryer in the entree, there's also an ironing board & iron at the chalet.

Living Rooms: The living area is open plan, there is a large sofa, woodburning stove, large Sony plasma TV with Sky including movie channels & a DVD player. For dining there is a beautiful large oak dining table which comfortably seats 10.

Outdoors: From the living area you can walk out onto the balcony which has sensational views of Mont Blanc, perfect for a pre or post dinner drink. In the summer we have a garden dining table & chairs set out on the balcony for alfresco dining.

There is a large garden & deck. In the summer there are deck chairs & loungers.

Relaxation: There is a luxury outdoor hot tub on the deck & an indoor sauna

Entertainment: There are TVs/DVDs in all the bedrooms. The lounge also has a TV (with Sky including Movie channels) & DVD. We have a large DVD collection to suit all the family as well as board games and a playstation.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: During your stay all towels & linens are included, robes & slippers are also provided for your comfort. Except for a phone, all utilities are included (including wi-fi). The chalet is cleaned at the beginning & end of your stay.

Chalet Food

Chamonix is a thriving alpine town & year round resort. The Chamonix Valley has some of the best skiing in the world but whether you want to be active or have a relaxing holiday, Chamonix has something to suit everyone.

Chamonix's ski season lasts from December to May, subject to snow conditions.

Chalet La Moraine ideally situated to explore all the different ski areas in the Chamonix valley, all of which are a short drive away. Courmayeur in Italy is also easily accessible through the Mont Blanc tunnel.
