British Columbia's second largest ski resort, Big White  is perfect for skiers or snowboarders of all abilities.

“It’s the snow” is Big White's motto with an average 750cm (24.5ft) of Okanagan Champagne Powder falling each year. Big White's dry powder is legendary and was awarded “Best Powder” by Ski Canada Magazine in 2008!

As the largest totally ski-in, ski-out ski resort in Canada, you can step straight out onto the slopes.

Skiing in Big White

There are beginner runs available from every chair lift. With plently of long green, blue runs.

These runs have been designed for cruising - with well groomed or soft powder these runs are ideal for all day crusing skiing.

Advanced skiing in Big White

There are some more serious challenges for the advanced skier - with some serious steep slopes. The tree runs are amazing - especially after a big snow. In particular Sun Rype Bowl is a local favourite.

There is also a terrain park and half pipes.

The village itself has a 17 restaurants and bars - particularly worth a visit are - Copper Kettle Grille and the Kettle Valley Steakhouse.

Snowshoe Sam's has live music and is a pretty busy buzzy place.

Big White is family friendly - two top items are the ice skating rink and the Mega Snow Coaster.
