Ski Chalet Details

This newly built (2008) apartment is on the second floor of a small traditional styled chalet building. It is spacious and light and will sleep 5 very comfortably (7 if you use the sofa bed). It has a huge south facing balcony running all around the apartment with stunning views. Bedroom 1 has two single beds which can be put together or pulled apart.  Bedroom 2 has bunk beds and a single bed.  There is a fully fitted modern kitchen. with a halogen hob, fan oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasherIt has a large wardrobe and access on to the balcony.It is superbly located; 150m from the main telecabine ski lift and walking distance to the local amenities and ski school meeting place. Vaujany is a small picturesque French village which has some good restaurants and bars. It is ideal for families and achieved the 'famille plus' french resort award last year for its excellent children's ski school and creche facilities. There is a public swimming pool with slide, sauna and gym also within walking distance of the apartment. It is only 1 hour and 15 mins from Grenoble Airport and about 2 hours 30 mins from Geneva, Lyon or Chambery.

Ski Chalet Apartment 22 is in Alpe d'Huez, France

It is superbly located; 150m from the main telecabine ski lift and walking distance to the local amenities and ski school meeting place. There are over 220kms of ski slopes open from 13th December 2009 to 25th April 2010. Vaujany is an ideal base for both Winter and Summer holidays. It is a traditional French village in the heart of the Oisan Mountains. In the winter you can enjoy the fantastic Grand Rousses ski area, which includes Alpe d'Huez, plus other activities such as ice skating, ice climbing and tobogganing. In the Summer, Vaujany offers a huge variety of marked trails for walkers and mountain bikers. The lift system is open throughout July and August and it takes bikes. Other summer sports include; tennis, white-water rafting, fishing, paragliding, horse-riding and golf. If you enjoy road cycling then Vaujany is a great base - it is only 15 minutes from Bourg D'Oisans - you could try the infamous Marmotte climb!
